Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Birds Nest Cookies
  1. Begin by combining semisweet chocolate chips and peanut butter chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat the mixture in 30-second intervals at medium power, stirring after each session, until smooth and fully melted—this typically takes about 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Once the chocolate mixture is melted, gently fold in the crunchy chow mein noodles with a spatula until they are fully coated in the chocolate mixture.
  3. Using a spoon or your hands, scoop clusters of the coated noodle mixture and drop them onto a sheet of parchment paper. Shape each mound into a nest, creating a small depression in the center.
  4. While the chocolate mixture is still warm, gently press chocolate Easter egg candies into the center of each cookie nest.
  5. Allow the formed nests to cool and set at room temperature for about 30 to 45 minutes.
