Cooking Instructions
  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat for about 1 minute until foamy and fragrant.
  2. Add sliced onions and a pinch of salt; sauté for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally until caramelized.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Mix in Arborio rice, ensuring each grain is coated in the onion mixture, and cook for about 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Stir in fresh thyme and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  7. If too thick, drizzle in additional broth to achieve desired creaminess and warm through.
  8. Plate and garnish with additional thyme if desired, and serve warm.
