  • 1 package Phyllo Pastry ensure properly thawed and covered
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Greek Yogurt
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 2 large Eggs

Step-by-Step Instructions for Greek Phyllo Meat Pie
  1. Thaw phyllo pastry overnight in the fridge, covered with a damp cloth. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, cook until browned (5-7 minutes). Stir in leeks and onions; cook until soft (4-5 minutes). Add spices and parsley, set to cool.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together milk, Greek yogurt, water, and eggs. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Layer 5 sheets of phyllo, drizzling batter between layers. Spread half meat filling, repeat with more phyllo and another drizzle, then add remaining filling.
  5. Top with phyllo sheets, drizzling remaining batter. Make shallow cuts on top. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and crispy.
