Step-by-Step Instructions for CrockPot Chicken Tortellini
  1. Spray the interior of your slow cooker generously with olive oil. Layer the chicken breasts evenly at the bottom.
  2. Pour the marinara sauce over the chicken, then sprinkle in garlic powder, onion granules, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red chili flakes. Pour in the chicken broth.
  3. Cover and set the slow cooker to LOW for about 4 hours, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. Remove the chicken and shred it into bite-sized pieces, then return it to the slow cooker.
  5. Stir in the cheese tortellini, mozzarella cheese, and heavy cream. Cover and cook on LOW for an additional 30 minutes.
  6. Add the baby spinach and stir gently. Cover and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
