Preparation Steps
- In a small bowl, combine onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and dried oregano.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add the lean ground beef. Season lightly with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Add coarsely chopped pepperoni and the prepared spice blend into the pan. Stir together and cook until fragrant.
- Pour in the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste, stirring to combine, and simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
- Spoon the beef and pepperoni mixture onto each wrap, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and roll tightly.
- Place rolls seam-side down in a lightly greased baking tray and spray the tops with oil.
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and bake the rolls for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving warm, optional with marinara for dipping.
