  2. Add crushed red pepper flakes and minced garlic to the melted butter, stirring for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the dry white wine, stirring to combine, and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer for about 2 minutes.
  4. Add the juice and zest of the lemon along with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Introduce chopped asparagus to the pan and sauté for approximately 2 minutes until bright green.
  6. Carefully add the uncooked shrimp, cooking for 5 to 7 minutes until pink and opaque.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in chopped fresh basil before serving warm.
