Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Chop the black olives and pimento-stuffed olives coarsely. Slice the green onions thinly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine butter and mayonnaise until creamy. Then add cheese, chopped olives, and onions.
  4. Cut the French bread in half lengthwise and place it cut side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spread the olive cheese mixture generously over the cut sides of both halves.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until cheese is melted and top is golden brown.
