Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2 eggs, 1 egg yolk, ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon of gochujang, and freshly cracked black pepper to taste. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Noodles: Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil, then cook the Ramen noodles according to package instructions, about 3-4 minutes for fresh or 2-3 minutes for instant. Reserve ½ cup of the cooking water before draining.
  3. Sauté Bacon and Garlic: In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat, add diced bacon and cook until crispy. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Reduce heat to low, add drained Ramen noodles to skillet, and stir in the egg mixture, stirring constantly for about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Serve and Garnish: Plate the Ramen Carbonara, garnish with additional Parmesan cheese, chopped chives, sesame seeds, and enjoy!
