Chimichurri Sauce Preparation
  1. Start by finely mincing the garlic, parsley, and cilantro. In a medium bowl, combine these herbs with olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, crushed red pepper flakes, and salt to taste. Stir well until blended.
  2. Set the chimichurri aside to allow the flavors to meld.
Steak Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 415°F (215°C) and let the steak sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Generously season both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper.
Cooking the Steak
  1. Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the seasoned steak for about 2 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
